This is also the focus of the new podcast series Women Leaders Beyond Borders, created by the #FinŽeny project team together with VIG Re. Find out more about the podcast series HERE.
The podcast series featuring elite top executives who are also expats, will publish interviews by host Jaroslav Kramer with exceptional women in top executive positions every month. The inaugural interview, which starts on 22nd of April, features Anna Rejer, Head of Life & Health Department at VIG Reinsurance, together with Sylwia Szymula, Chief Retail Officer and member of the Board of Directors of Uniqa insurance company. Both Polish managers agree in the podcast that when a manager works abroad, she has to overcome not only geographical boundaries, but also psychological ones. This applies especially to a team of new co-workers. "Black scenarios drain your energy out. Focus on the opportunities,“ they say in the interview, which will be available for free on YouTube and Spotify, as well as on Info.cz, where it will also be accompanied by a Czech text article.
The next episode, which will premiere at the end of May, will be hosted by Cristina Ferrari, Chief Underwriting Officer at VIG Re, and Violeta Luca, CEO of Vodafone in the Czech Republic. They will be followed by six more extraordinary managers in the coming months.
